This exhibition takes “C+M+Y≠K” as its point of departure, beginning from a color system that appears stable and clearly defined, and extending into a reflection on difference and imbalance within it. It focuses on the gap between theoretical structures and lived perception, and from this gap, reconsiders the ways in which we habitually see and understand.

Dao Ming Chuang, Hsin-Yi Liu, and Chia-Nuoh Lu each responds to this proposition through their own experiences and sensibilities. While the works are presented together, they form relationships while maintaining their own differences and distinct qualities. Rather than presenting a unified conclusion, the exhibition unfolds as a state of continual shift and emergence, inviting viewers to gradually perceive its subtle transformations through the act of viewing.
